Series of events devoted to 9 December - International Day on Fight against Corruption has been held by Transparency Azerbaijan in joint partnership with IREX Media Advancement Program`s (MAP) Community Development Centers. Staff members of Advocacy and Legal Advice Centers (ALAC) project participated as guest speakers in the events with organizational support from IREX and gave information to participants about corruption and its forms and consequences, mobile workshops conducted by within the framework of the National Strategy of the Republic of Azerbaijan for Increasing Transparency and Combating Corruption, as well as concrete steps and measures that taken by government and civil society organizations in fight against corruption within last years. Workshops held in Community Development Centers located in Guba, Ganca, Sheki and Gazakh regions brought together users of the centers, students, and members of civil society and youth organizations.
